We’re launching something new.
And, yep, we love new things, but this is something we feel really excited about.
Mind, Body, Macros is about supporting not only your nutrition, but your wellbeing too. We want you to feel empowered in your health, confident in your body, and in-control of your daily actions.
Since April 2024, Elevate has been running a Nutrition & Weight-loss group – which we’ve loved – and what we’ve learned from our awesome gals is that their biggest take-aways from the group come in the form of the mindset shifts.
It’s not been all about the weight. A part of it for sure, but that the changes to their lives come down to changing how they feel about food, and how they feel about themselves.
We’ve discovered that supporting women to feel better in themselves, to improve their relationship with food and eating, and to build an awesome community of like-minded people is what it’s all about.
So, we’re running with that. (Not literally, no running involved).
We’re expanding the group. It’s still going to have a foodie element, we’re still going to chat about macros (it’s there in the title), we’re still going to talk all things healthy habits, we’ll still be supporting you to overcome obstacles and reach those goals. You’ll still have access to the in-app calorie tracker and a personalized calorie target – should you want this.
And we’re gonna dig deeper.
Health (mind and body) has a huge emotional and subconscious component to it. What we think, what we believe to be true, the stories we tell ourselves – these all directly influence how we go about our lives. And trying to change our behaviours without changing our mindset can be a recipe for disaster. (We don’t want that for you!)
Because we are not just bodies. We’re complex human beings who think and feel differently, and who are impacted by our environments and the people around us (our personal biopsychosocial perspectives if we’re getting science-y about it).
Nutrition, movement, recovery, self-care, sleep, stress-relief and understanding your body can transform your relationships, your experiences and your life.
Here at Elevate we are advocates of ‘deep health’. This means we take a whole person approach to health and wellbeing. We see the connections between our mind and body, and we appreciate that ‘good health’ is about more than visiting the gym twice a week, or eating a certain number of calories in a day.
That is what we want to bring into Mind, Body, Macros.
Moving beyond just food, or just exercise, and bringing in our environment, our emotions, our social connections, our sense of purpose, our sleep, stress and self-esteem. It’s ALL important.
Ok, so what are the practical deets?
Mind, Body, Macros is going to run as a monthly membership. It includes;
Weekly Meetings/drop-in sessions Thursdays 7 – 8pm @Elevate
Facebook group with a ton of useful resources
In-App calorie and habit tracking
Regular check-ins and access to coach Ali via the App
Awesome community of like-minded gals
All for £15/month as a member add-on (or £25/month for non-members)
